Continental Airlines’ Fam Trip for Travel Agents
Continental Airlines recently organized a familiarization trip to New York for 12 representatives of Greek travel agencies. The aim of the trip was the complete familiarization of the agents of all the stages of the airline’s services to passengers, which, according to airline representatives, have increased since the direct flight Athens-New York was launched earlier this year.
During this trip, the representatives experienced Newark Liberty International Airport, Continental Airline’s hub in New York, the services and facilities provided, and the ease of transportation of passengers from the airport to the center of Manhattan.
The travel agents also experienced the city itself, the hotels, the sights, the restaurants and the shops that have marked New York as one of the most popular destinations worldwide, so as to be able to offer potential passengers a more holistic overview of what the airline can offer.
Sales manager for Continental Airlines in Greece, Dimitris Karagioules, who accompanied the travel agents on the trip, said: “Travel agents must have a hands-on experience with the product, so that in turn, they can provide a better service to our passengers.”
