Amadeus Hellas Exceeds Customers’ Needs
Amadeus Hellas has outperformed in Greece and Cyprus every year for the last three years, marking record growth levels in the travel industry market.
Roberto Copello, general manager of Amadeus Hellas, said, “Our customers in Greece and Cyprus have identified Amadeus as the true technology pioneer. Many of them have decided to trust us as their business partner and technology provider, and have migrated from the competition despite long-lasting cooperations.”
Since 2004, the company has gained more than one million bookings and signed more than 130 top accounts. The company is now the second leading distributor.
Some new additions to the company’s growing account portfolio include Amphitrion Holidays, Griffin Marine Travel, TUI Hellas, HRG Greece, Esser Travel, Kyvernitis Travel, Memphis Travel, Monogram Travel, Ippocampos Travel, G-S Travel, Afea Travel, Irman Travel, Island Mykonos Travel, MidEast International Tours and Triaena Tours & Congress.
Two of the most recent top accounts to migrate to Amadeus Hellas are Travel Plan and Aria Travel, both of which will be fully operational in the near future.
Mr. Copello continued, “We take pride in having achieved the market leadership in terms of customer service, technology solutions and branding. We have the experience and vision, and we combine stability and innovation which are essential elements for such a demanding and dynamic market. We are committed to exceeding our customer’s expectations through continual dialogue and investment.”
Amadeus Consulting Services, a pioneering service for optimizing business performance on the travel market, was introduced in 2005. Since then consulting projects have been successfully completed for Monogram Travel and HRG Greece. The project for G-S Travel is nearly complete and more projects are planned for 2007.
This is a unique service on the Greek travel market and an important competitive advantage for the company. Amadeus consultants evaluate the customer’s business processes and applications, and then make recommendations for improving business performance.
The launch of Amadeus Agency Internet (e-Power), an e-commerce solution, will enable travel agents in Greece and Cyprus to successfully compete in the increasingly complex e-commerce arena.
Amadeus Hellas has evolved significantly since 1998 in terms of market share, branding and customer portfolio. Its market share has gone from 7% in 1998 to nearly 30% in 2006, and the company is perceived as the most powerful player on the market. Amadeus Hellas has a closeknit team of 26 highly knowledgeable and experienced professionals.
