Rodos Palace Completes Elaborate Renovations
Elaborate renovations of Rodos Palace Resort Hotel were successfully completed recently after two years of design and intensive construction work. The project cost owners some 3.5 billion drachmas.
The entire renovation program consisted of two major phases. Each one involved different areas of the hotel. Phase one, completed last year, included the entire refurbishment of 357 standard rooms, 24 junior suites and five presidential suites in the main building or tower of the hotel complex. Phase two was completed this year and included the renovation of the majority of the public areas of Rodos Palace. Besides the transformation of the main entrance, reception and lounge areas, the hotel redesigned its outdoor area.
The outdoor pools were enlarged and then the area was beautified with the addition of artificial creeks connecting the two pools, pavement of the terraces with flagstones, addition of palm trees and the construction of wooden pavilions.
