Cel Tours Promotes New Destinations And On-line Sales
Mary Souli, general manger of Athens-based Cel Tours, organized a major promotional event in Thessaloniki recently for that area’s travel agents.
With a magical Internet show, Ms. Souli presented Cel’s new destinations and Cel’s Internet direct booking system. She reminded guests that her company was the first such one in Greece to offer direct on-line booking via the Internet.
New destinations presented by Cel included Vietnam, China, Cuba and exotic beach destinations of Southeast Asia, such as Bali.
As well, Ms. Souli informed the participants that her company has arranged departures from Thessaloniki for destinations in Scandinavia, Cuba and Southeast Asia, And to better service customers, Cel this year opened an office in Cuba and on Ko Samui lsand (Chaba Hotel), complete with Greek-speaking personnel.
She also reminded guests that Cel Tours recently received awards from Thailand, China, Hong Kong and Cuba. The awards, from tourism organizations, Thai Airways and Cuban hotels, noted that Cel sent more visitors that any other Greek tour operator to the aforementioned destinations
During the dinner party that followed the presentation, guests were able to meet and talk with representatives from Thailand, Indonesia, OTEnet, Thai Airways and representatives from up- market hotels on Bali, Phuket, Krabi, Ko Samui and Cuba.
Cel Tours offers three to four free nights to customers that book selected exotic destinations, and a year’s free Internet service to customers that book any of the company’s newest destinations.
